In the 1980s we brought our first own product onto the market: a black turtleneck sweater, which was then worn to the Levis 501 jeans. The demand for black turtleneck sweaters was so great that we couldn't find enough vintage copies. In search of a nice name, a vintage bowling shirt - brand crossed our path: King Louie . We then accepted this name. We have always placed great emphasis on developing clothes that make people happy. Vintage-inspired clothing with self-designed patterns, very colorful and with good fit. In the 1990s we moved to the Hartenstraat to the Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam, where we have remained until today.
